Today we ventured to Whitlingham Park on the Broads. I have lived in Norwich over ten years but never been and a friend recommended it me. The sun was out and the littlies were at home so we decided to the a look.
What a lovely place it is. Its about 3 miles round the man made Broad and the littlies really enjoyed it. Reenie, Emilie and I all had our cameras out taking photos. It was so peaceful as well with just dog walkers and joggers trundling about. We even watched a race organised by the Norwich Model Boat club with a group of radio controlled yachts… Its a definite return visit so somewhere so close.
We headed home after nearly two and a half hours walking round (and two geocache finds!) and went by way of Sainsburys and the butchers. It enabled us time to arrive home in time for the rugby. A stirling effort from the boys who did well bearing in mind Wales were runaway favourites… We were even treated to a classic Kieranism…see the latest edition to the Quotes page.
A nice relaxing day tomorrow. Team GB do love the weekends together!
