Goodbye Paris

However we did have time for a cup of tea and have a chat with Karim before we left. He had been fantastic and was such a friendly and helpful person that really helped make our stay that much better. Last full day in Paris and it is unbelievable how quickly the time has gone. Our fifth full day and sixth day in Paris and it has been truly memorable. However this last full day started at a police station given the thieving events of last night. Not the best start admittedly but if we wanted to claim on the insurance it was needed. Fit for a king…

Today we headed out of Paris and visited the royal palace at Versailles. It was about a 40 minute trip in the RER and the train soon filled with other visitors. The train was mostly overground which offered some views of the outskirts of Paris as we headed out. Another big day with lots of walking, taking in some of the famous landmarks of Paris and arriving back at the Latin Quartier.
