Last full day in Sydney but also my niece Jordan’s 6th birthday.  We were going to go to Luna Park but unfortunately it was closed so we decided to go to the Sydney Aquarium in Darling Harbour.

But before that Tayla, Mum and myself got a cab to the north side of Sydney to walk over the Harbour Bridge at ground level (still 49m metres over the water).  Well I know I did the Bridge Climb but still wanted to be able to say I’d walked over it.  I feel like a record with the needle stuck, but again amazing views.  I don’t think I could get tired of looking at the Opera House.  Its such a wonderful looking building…

Aquarium was good and my nieces certainly enjoyed seeing the sharks, rays, octupi, and many other tropical fish and even touching starfish.  There is quite a collection of aquatic creatures.  Its really well done but I have to say after 45 minutes I was feeling a little fish drunk!!

After that we headed back to the apartment by way of some more shopping and a couple of beers.  There some more swimming and a deserved dip in the spa pool.  Bag bags for the return to Geelong tomorrow afternoon.  I have been thoroughly impressed with Sydney.  The sights, the people and what we have done has all been great.  Definitely not the last time I will be visiting this city…
