Mixed bag…

Well this weekend was a proper mixed bag of activity and kept us all busy…

We started by visiting Granny Noodles in Kessingland as Auntie Maureen was visiting. It was great to see them both and witness the children eat their own body weight in shortbread biscuits. A feat not for the faint of heart. Gran was so pleased to see the little ones and it was nice to have a proper catch up and see Maureen.

We headed back to Norwich so the littlies could spend some money they had. Emilie had some pocket money from little jobs about the house and Kieran has some money from Daddy for being a brave boy in hospital. Toys R Us was the best place to spend such princely sums and as you can imagine it didn’t take long. We then headed into the city to get some ingredients for a home made Wagamamas. Alas we were not able to get hold of what we wanted so we headed to Tesco only to fail again. We opted for Pizza and resolved to complete the task tomorrow where the Wagamamas meal would be our Sunday meal.

We got home to play with new toys and generally chill out after quite a long day out and about…

Sunday saw Emilie help Mummy in the kitchen while Kieran and I headed to Waitrose to procure the missing ingredients which we succeeded in doing. Back home to play with some lego that I had bought on eBay and watch a couple of films. The Amai Udon that Reenie made was very tasty and certainly didn’t disappoint with the efforts gone to get the necessary recipe!
