Today we headed back to Weston Park to see the dinosaurs and enjoy being outside. The weather wasn’t brilliant but it wasn’t enough to put off Team GB.

We arrived at about midday after a late start and lay-in. We had a wander round the play area before heading into the main trail and seeing what dinosaurs we could see…

We had a number of stamps we had to collect to win a medal for the two smaller members of the team and we made good progress early on. The wander through the woods was eventful as usual with plenty of beasts to see.

Some even nearly caught members of the team who had lucky escapes from the clutches of the caniverous creatures!! And when we made it through the woods we were greeted by a T-Rex! We wandered round the secre garden, saw some snakes, guinea pigs, metal dinosaurs and even nearly got locked up in the stocks before we headed back to the main area though another woodland path. Here we saw a mammoth and a sabre tooth tiger who both bore a striking resemblance to Manny and Diego from Ice Age.

Back in the main we headed indoors to the new play area so the little ones could have a run about (yes more) and the older members could sit down and take a load off!! 🙂

We then headed back t the main shop to claim our medals and headed home to watch a film and have a chinese takeaway…
