The weather was awful and despite our best intentions to stay out of the weather we decided to venture outside. We wanted something that would be indoors and thought we would try out the Sainsburys Centre for Visual Arts at the UEA. Its a wonderful collection of art and pieces from throughout history that were collected and donated by Sir Robert Sainsbury and his wife Lady Sainsbury.
Its a wonderful collection from all across the world and it was great to see the children enjoy looking at all the pieces of work. We even had lunch in the cafe where there is a skeleton of a Mink whale encrusted with crystals.
We will definitely be returning when there are some exhibitions on.
Afterwards he headed to Waitrose to get some food for dinner and Sunday lunch. By the time we had finished and with the weather fast deteriorating we were all glad to get home in the warm…
