The boys are back in town…

So this weekend would be spent as a boys and girls weekends and for the first time Team GB would be split up not just for the day but for the whole weekend. The girls were off to Hampton Court for a craft fair to be hosted and attended by none other than Kirsty Allsop and the boys were heading to London to do boy stuff! Row row your boat, gently on the lake…

A return to Fritton Park after a while away and enjoyed some wonderful sunshine and some lovely picnic food.  Its such a different place from when I used to come here as a child with a lot of the adventure playground now gone.  However there is still plenty to do as we soon found out. Norwich castle thanks to Horatio

A cheeky trip to Norwich Castle was in order today!  We had a free family ticket courtesy of winning a competition last year at the Forum at the Nelson exhibition (click here for entry).  Although itching to use it we wanted to wait until the weather was poor so we could justify a day indoors! Beach and rocks

The weather was back with us today as we found ourselves already at our last full day in Falmouth.  We decided to check out the beaches we saw as we walked along the headland from Pendennis Point on Tuesday.  Where we were staying was all harbour and boats so it was nice to see some of the beach close by. Slides and swimming
